Oculus Connect 4, the VR conference for Oculus from Facebook was held at San Jose on 11 – 12 Oct 2017. Paracosma alongside select engineers, designers, and creatives from around the world attended the conference to push virtual reality forward. The VR conference made plenty of exciting announcements, starting with Mark Zuckerberg’s commitment to reaching One Billion VR users worldwide through ongoing support and investment in the Oculus platform.  Oculus also showed new hardware solutions including the “Oculus Go” standalone VR headset, which will leverage Gear VR mobile apps; Project Santa Cruz, a 6DOF standalone headset to access Rift content; and a new Commercial edition of the Rift headset.
