The first annual VR for Good Symposium was held in Washington, D.C. on November 17, 2017.  The conference was co-created and co-sponsored by VR Voice and Paracosma, having originated in a conversation between VR Voice’s Bob Fine and Paracosma’s CEO, Ken Ehrhart.  Discussing Paracosma’s mission to improve Reality through Virtual Reality, the two decided to launch a forum dedicated to highlighting and promoting the work of the industry to create positive change and impact in the world.  Covering a range of topics from the Empathy Effect in which immersive VR/360 media inspires emotional social impact and charitable giving for a range of causes, to medical breakthroughs and creative expression, the conference was a great success.  We look forward to an expansion in 2018.
